In the EASportsFC subreddit, one user found that you can take advantage of daily upgrade SBCs and smart recycling to maximize returns from the least valuable cards in your club. The best fodder cards in EA FC 26 are a rare commodity, and if you have an extra 15 minutes to spare in the game, this is a simple trick that can pay off in big ways.
How The Method Works
For those unfamiliar, fodder cards can be any high-rated cards that you don’t use in your starting 11 but use to unlock others. SBCs can help you put these cards to good use, as cards traded in for an SBC are removed from your inventory. Generally speaking, cheap cards with an 84-86 rating, untradable cards, and cards from popular leagues and nationalities make for good fodder cards. Hakan Çalhanoğlu (86) and Romelu Lukaku (84) are good fodder cards, for example.
The hack discussed on Reddit is surprisingly simple. It involves leveraging each player tier, from bronze to gold, and constantly feeding the SBC upgrade chain. You start by completing the daily Bronze and Silver upgrades three times each, resulting in 36 of each player type. Then, you funnel common golds to two specific SBCs upgrades: the 3x 83+ Upgrade (for tradeable packs) and the 78+ Rare Gold Upgrade (for rare player stock). Next, you need to recycle leftover commons into the Gold Upgrade, providing 2 rare golds per completion.
When you have a certain number of “useless” rares, throw them into 79+ Upgrade, and occasionally to the 83+ triple upgrade if you have excess fodder. User u/Legal-Leading4819 reports getting three 88s, one 86, 3×85, and multiple 84s with this track. Talk about recycling efficiency. The odds of hitting big pulls with this method are incredibly high.
The best part is that this is all doable daily within 15 minutes. Even if you have limited time to play, you can stack high-rated cards for future SBCs without grinding matches or spending coins. However, like many hacks, this one has its caveats: Many report that the 79 x2 upgrades aren’t hitting as hard lately, making the method a bit less effective. And it also does involve a bit of luck, so your mileage will certainly vary.
