If you have been playing EA FC 26 on PC, you already know the Disconnect problem that the game was facing. You would often get kicked out of online matches for no reason. Fans had been complaining for this bug to get fixed, and after an unbearable amount of time, it has.
@EASFCDirect on X, tweeted that they were working on a fix a few days ago. It was called Patch 1.1.2, and the main goal was to fix this nasty issue. The patch is now live, and the disconnect bug has been fixed.
The problem became so big that players actively started finding workarounds themselves. From changing DNS addresses, restarting their games and routers, verifying game files, to even reinstalling the game multiple times. Even EA itself gave a workaround for this issue in the tweet embedded above.
What This Means For EA FC 26

For a game as big as EA FC 26, a bug like this is just concerning. Sure, EA FC 26 has had a rocky launch with fans complaining about bugs and glitches, but a game-breaking bug like this is really worrying, as FC is EA’s biggest franchise.
Thankfully, Patch 1.1.2 fixed this bug, and fans can now enjoy uninterrupted online matches. The days of being disconnected randomly from a game you were about to win are long gone.
Bugs like this should not exist in games as expensive and big as EA FC 26, but mistakes sometimes slip through. Although the disconnection issues are fixed, the game still has a lot of bugs, albeit not as annoying as this one.
The devs are working diligently to fix the issues within the game. We should see a more stable and bug-free game as more bug fixes and patches roll out.
