EA FC 26 is just a few months away, and due to the hype, numerous fan concepts and leaks have started circulating on social media. While the official ratings are expected to be revealed soon, some social media handles have already shared promising intel. Information about top player ratings has been revealed, including those of Messi, Ronaldo, and nearly the entire Real Madrid roster.
According to FUT Camp on X, ratings for both Messi and Ronaldo seem to be following the downward trend.
- Lionel Messi — 87
- Christiano Ronaldo — 85
“BETA!! NOT FINAL RATINGS THIS IS BETA!” Despite this being mentioned, fans are still skeptical. Ronaldo buffs are complaining about his rating being low, while Messi fans, on the other hand, are also whining about the same thing. Can’t blame them, though. Both of these players have received some of the highest ratings in previous FIFA games. However, if the beta ratings are true, then this trend is over, leaving fans disheartened.
Why the decline? Well, both of these players are seniors compared to the youngsters like Lamine Yamal. With Messi at 37 and Ronaldo at 40, EA needs to adjust their pace, stamina, and ability according to their ages.
Additionally, both of these players are no longer playing in top European leagues; instead, they are now part of lower-tier leagues. Messi now plays for Inter Miami while Ronaldo competes in the Saudi Pro League. As a result, their experiences are compromised, impacting their OVR.
Real Madrid Roster Revealed
We came across another reveal from FUT Camp. This one reveals nearly the entire roster of Real Madrid, with most players getting downgraded. Let’s compare these ratings with last year’s game.
Real Madrid Player Names | EA FC 25 Ratings | EA FC 26 Beta Ratings |
Mbappe | 91 | 90 |
Vini Jr. | 90 | 90 |
Bellingham | 90 | 90 |
Courtois | 89 | 89 |
Valverde | 88 | 88 |
Rudiger | 88 | 86 |
Carvajal | 86 | 86 |
Militao | 85 | 85 |
Tchouameni | 85 | 84 |
Alaba | 85 | 84 |
Camavinga | 83 | 83 |
Mendy | 84 | 82 |
Endrick | 77 | 77 |
Ceballos | 79 | 80 |
Brahim | 82 | 80 |
Fran Garcia | 78 | 79 |
Guler | 78 | 78 |
Rodrygo | 86 | 86 |
In comparison to EA FC 25, we can see a slight downgrade in the ratings. The reason for this is Real Madrid’s last season performance, where they lost both the UCL and La Liga. As a result, EA has supposedly downgraded some players’ OVR to complement their real-life performance.
That said, while these ratings have yet to be confirmed, they can still be partially trusted, as they are based on beta tests. However, if you want to be certain, you’ll need to wait for the official ratings release.
