With EA FC 26 set to release on September 26, more information is being revealed to the fans. Earlier, we got the gameplay deep dive, which revealed the two new gameplay presets: Competitive and Authentic. Now, to complement that Competitive preset, EA has revealed the ICONS class of FC 26.
12 new icons are making their way to the new EA FC, including the Spanish don, Andres Iniesta. We saw this coming, though, since the entire list was leaked back in July. However, now that all the ICONS are confirmed, let’s take a look at who will be putting on a masterclass in EA FC 26 Ultimate Team.
EA FC 26 ICONS Revealed
The class of FC 26 ICONS includes:
- Zlatan Ibrahimovic
- Alex Morgan
- Andres Iniesta
- Toni Kroos
- Caroline Seger
- Giorgio Chiellini
- Sissi
- Francesco Totti
- Marcelo
- Steffi Jones
- Oliver Kahn
- Cha Bum-Kun
Seven out of the twelve icons mentioned here have recently retired, so you’ll now be able to celebrate their legacy in EA FC 26. All of them will be available in Ultimate Team, and if you preorder the game by August 26, you’ll receive 1 Debut ICON.
Since these players are locked to the Ultimate Team mode, they will also be locked to the Competitive Gameplay Preset. However, EA has promised that the preset will be ideal for Ultimate Team, featuring faster gameplay, smoother dribbling, and unlimited control.
Some of these ICONS will also be among the 13 historic players inspiring Clubs Archetypes, each offering unique traits and a new customization experience. This includes Ibrahimovic (Target), Alex Morgan (Finisher), Toni Kroos (Maestro), Oliver Kahn (Shot Stopper), and Andres Iniesta (Creator).
