To kick off Season 8, EA revealed both the first players to return as part of EA FC 25 FUT’s Ultimate TOTS and the nationalities of nine potential End of an Era SBCs, the latter starring players who are either retiring or leaving a club following a legendary stay.
But as you can imagine, the identity of many of the latter has either been leaked or already hinted at by the community. Here are all of the players expected to be receiving End of an Era SBCs during and following the Ultimate TOTS period in EA FC 25 Ultimate Team.
All End Of An Era SBCs Early Reveals And Predictions
As featured in the official banner, two Belgians, two Germans, one Croatian, one French, one Mexican, one Scottish, and one Spanish player will be receiving End of an Era SBCs. Among them, three were already leaked to be Kevin De Bruyne, Jan Vertonghen, and Luka Modric. Other expected names include the recently retired Mats Hummels and Carlos Vela. - Kevin De Bruyne (BEL): Leaving Manchester City
- Luka Modric (ESP): Leaving Real Madrid
- Thomas Müller (GER): Leaving Bayern Munich
- Eugénie Le Sommer (FRA): Leaving Lyon
- Kieran Tierney (SCO): Leaving Arsenal.
- Jan Vertonghen (BEL): Retired at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
- Pepe Reina (ESP): Retired at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
- Carlos Vela (MEX): Retired in late May 2025.
- Mats Hummels (GER): Retired at the end of the 2024/2025 season.
It is still unknown how expensive each of the upcoming SBCs will be. Still, taking into account some of the game’s previous releases (in particular, EOAE Jamie Vardy), it won’t be off the mark to expect at least De Bruyne and Modric to demand squads equal to or above 1 million. The TOTS Ultimate selection —and potentially the first End of an Era SBC— is set to debut on June 6, 2025. Keep in mind that a wave of objectives is also expected to debut on the date.

On June 5, the official stats of both EOAE De Bruyne and Vertonghen were leaked/revealed by WetDesign and Fut Scoreboard on X (Twitter), respectively. You can check out all of the card’s main stats and PlayStyles below, based on the values shown by the leakers:
- Kevin De Bruyne (96 / CAM): 90 PAC, 94 SHO, 99 PAS, 95 DRI, 86 DEF, 87 PHY. Finesse Shot, Pinged Pass, Long Ball Pass, and Incisive Pass PlayStyles+.
- Jan Vertonghen (92 / CB): 90 PAC, 75 SHO, 85 PAS, 86 DRI, 93 DEF, and 93 PHY. Intercept, Bruiser, and Jockey PlayStyles+.
