Our Top 5 Picks

There are some pretty amazing cards on this list, but with limited budgets, most of us won’t be able to afford them all. Here are the cards that we think you should go for to get the most bang out of your buck.

  1. Yamine Lamal – This is a clear choice for number one. His overall stats are incredible, and he sports 5-star skill moves and a 5-star weak foot rating. Since he plays for Barcelona and is from Spain, he’s an easy player to find chemistry links with as well.
  2. Raphinha – Over on the other wing, you can have Raphinha, the Brazilian winger for Barcelona. He’s comparable to Vini Jr., but with a better stat block overall. 99 Pace is always something incredible for wingers, and if you’re playing a 4-3-3 formation, he and Lamal will make a formiddable duo.
  3. Kylian Mbappé – There are plenty of great strikers on this list, but how could we vote against Mbappé? His 99 Pace, 96 shooting, and 98 dribbling stats speak for themselves. Be warned, though, this card surely won’t come cheap. Alvarez is a reasonable alternative if you can’t afford him.
  4. Iñigo Martínez – It’s a tough choice for defenders here between Martínez and Rüdiger, but Martínez sports better defense, shooting, passing, and dribbling, for only a slight reduction in pace.
  5. Federico Valverde – If you’re looking for a good all-around midfielder, look no further. Valverde has solid pace for a midfielder at 95, as well as good dribbling, shooting, and passer ratings. He also has a surprisingly high defense rating for this position. Finding chemistry links with him might be a bit of a challenge, but if you can make it work, he’s bound to be a great asset.
