E4 Married at First Sight UK wedding uncertain minutes after vows as bride finds out groom's job

A bride from Married At First Sight UK was left regretting her decision to say 'I Do' - after she found our her new husband's job. The latest instalment of the show kicked off with a bang as the new series continues of the E4 reality show, which sees strangers getting married after only meeting for the first time at the alter.

Viewers watched last night as one of the weddings didn't quite go to plan, Daily Record reports. Jess, 31, was left in tears when her new groom, Pjay, 31, told her his line of work.

Mere minutes after finding out, Cambridge-based Jess then said in an interview segment with producers that she "doesn't want" to go on honeymoon because of what she discovered.

The revelation was made as the new couple stood in front of a sunset and showed each other pictures of 'happiness' - with Jess soon becoming 'unhappy'.

Pjay asked his new wife what her job was and she told him that she worked as a dental hygienist. She returned the question and asked: "What about you, what do you do?" With a cheeky smile, he responded: "OK, I'm going to tell you, but you can't judge," and a scared Jess replied: "OK that obviously makes me feel sick straight away." It was then that he told her that he was a "performer slash dancer slash stripper".

The news prompted the bride to squeal: "No you're not oh f**k off. Are you actually?" As Pjay confirmed that what he was saying was true, a shell-shocked Jess replied: "S**t I don't know what to say about that."

Addressing the specifics, Pjay added: "I'm more of a dancer but, if you had to title it, it's a stripper." She visibly choked back her emotion and in a private piece to camera, admitted: "I don't want to go out with a stripper. No offence, I get it's your job and everything but that's just not what I'm about.

"I just feel like how are you going to look after me? I literally feel like I'm going to cry."

Jess was then seen breaking down, dabbing tears away as she wailed: "I just want to go home."
