One of Married at First Sight UK's latest bride's reality show past has been revealed after viewers were left feeling 'betrayed' during the latest episode.
The E4 reality series was back on screens for episode three on Wednesday night (August 31) and fans watched as the first set of four newly married couples headed off on their luxury honeymoons to the likes of Jamaica and Mexico.
This included April Banbury and her new husband George Roberts who appeared to hit it off almost instantly when the complete strangers met for the first time at the aisle before tying the knot in front of their nearest and dearest.
Former Miss GB April and new man George were one of two couples to tie the knot in Tuesday night’s episode, alongside Thomas Hartley and Adrian Anderson. And during Wednesday's show viewers got to see how they were getting on as they jetted off from the UK.
However, despite the pair seeming to have chemistry at the start, April began to express her doubts as she began to feel 'suffocated' by the whirlwind romance and told her new husband that when things move to quickly, she backs off as it 'puts her off'.
George took her comments on board and the pair spent their day apart before reuniting in the evening. After a heart-to-heart the couple decided to work on their relationship. However, things went from bad to worse the next morning when an emotional George broke down in tears to the camera, claiming that April had "cheated" on him.
He said: "I woke up this morning numb and cold... yesterday we ended up having a lovely evening then I went away for a short while, came back, and realised that there had been an incident. I just don't know if I feel comfortable doing this, I don't know.
"It was heartbreaking and a massive kick in the teeth - she had been intimate with somebody else. I've been cheated on, f**k!" as he walked away, telling following cameras: "Sorry, don't do that!"
April then came over to his room to clear the air as she asked what had happened to which George replied: "Because I came back to the hot tub and stuff had happened..." As his new wife insisted: "We were just having fun, playing like dares and stuff" as he pointed out: "But you told me that you'd kissed her!"
April then argued: "Yeah, because that was a dare!" she added in a VT: "I thought most guys would be happy, you know, two girls kissing in a hot tub... who wouldn't? I'm like what the hell and apparently not!" and MAFS viewers were quick to comment on social media.

Away from the honeymoon drama, it has been revealed that April has a reality TV past. Back in 2020 the dressmaker starred in ITV2 show The Cabins, where she shared a log cabin with model Ryan Darvill. The pair quickly hit it off on the show and were quickly known for their steamy bath scene.
The pair later confirmed they were still together during the dating show's reunion but later split. But that wasn't her first attempt at finding love on-screen. She competed for the love of rugby player Gavin Henson on the Channel 5 series The Bachelor in 2011.
In the show's own style, April was saved by Gavin until the crucial rose ceremony but came third place in the series after losing to Carianne Barrow.
