Police investigating the attempted abduction of a 14-year-old girl in Sale have released a computer-generated image of a suspect.
Specialist officers worked alongside the schoolgirl to compose the likeness.
The e-fit image has now been released in a bid to put a name to the face.
Police said the teenager was walking close to the junction of Norris Road and Derbyshire Road South in Sale when she 'became aware' of a dark grey 4X4-type vehicle parked up near her.
A man inside asked her to get inside.
She refused and walked away, GMP said.

The incident is being treated as an attempted child abduction.
It happened between 3.15pm and 3.45pm on Monday, January 13.
No one else was in the car with the man at the time.

Police said the man is described as white with a pale complexion, around 6ft tall and aged between 25 and 40.
He had long black hair which was scraped into a 'top knot' held in place by a black bobble, police said.
Some hair however came down to his shoulders.

He had a slim face with defined cheekbones, spoke with a Mancunian accent and was wearing a long-sleeve, grey round-neck cotton T-shirt with a pocket on the left breast.
In a statement, GMP said: "There will be increased police patrols in the area while officers continue their investigations."
Detective Constable Oliver Barton said: "Do you recognise the image we're releasing today?
"Perhaps you were in the area at the time and saw something that looked out of place?
"If you have any information or dash-cam footage that may help our enquiries, please contact police."
