Dyson have launched the latest innovation to vacuuming your home with the Heurist robot vacuum , and it’s the result of more than 20 years of development.
The Heurist is available from today at dyson.co.uk and from Currys PC World and John Lewis & Partners from 18th March.
The robot vacuum machine has powerful suction thanks to the V2 motor, which spins at 78,000 rpm and generates 20% more suction than the previous 360 Eye robot vacuum to clean your home.
Speaking about the new launch James Dyson said: “Since we started working on robotics, we wanted to produce a vacuum that cleaned properly – not just a gadget. The Dyson 360TM Heurist robot has eight sensors for improved navigation, and powerful suction, so it can clean your home.”
Unlike some robotic vacuums, the brush bar stretches the full width of the machine (212mm-wide) – so it cleans right to the edge of the robot.
As it travels along, the robot’s sensors take a distance measurement every 20 milliseconds so it always knows where it is and where it’s yet to clean - how cool is that?
The intelligent vision system helps it to navigate, so it always knows where it is in the room.
You can also have total control through the Dyson Link app, so even if you’re on holiday, in the office or on your way back from the shops, you can tell it to get cleaning.
The auto-charge functionality means the Dyson 360 Heurist robot monitors its own battery level and returns to its dock to recharge when needed, then automatically continues any unfinished cleans.
It also has one touch control with the a simple, single-button control, while icons on the robot communicate battery charge level, blockages and Wi-Fi status back to you. Clever, eh?!
