
Yuzuru Hanyu, right, grabbed first place in the men's figure skating short program at the Pyeongchang Olympic Games on Friday. The Sochi gold medalist perfectly executed his opening quadruple salchow for a score of 111.68 points. Shoma Uno, below, finished third with 104.17 points, successfully landing a quadruple flip. Spain's Javier Fernandez took second. The free skating portion of the event will take place on Saturday.
