Former Disney star and child actor Dylan Sprouse reportedly tackled an alleged intruder who entered his Hollywood Hills property on Friday morning.
The incident took place at 12.30AM on Friday (US Time) after Dylan’s wife, supermodel Barbara Palvin, spotted “a creepy guy” and called 911 about a trespasser and attempted burglary.
According to TMZ, a source has claimed that the Suite Life of Zack and Cody star confronted the alleged intruder, tackled him, and held him down until authorities arrived.
The publication also claimed that officers were told the actor had a gun and held the alleged intruder at gunpoint before tackling him. However, Dylan put the firearm back in its holster and behind their front gate.
The outlet also reported that police said the incident was closer to trespassing rather than an attempted burglary, but the celebrity couple didn’t want the suspect charged with trespassing.
LA police told The Los Angeles Times that the alleged intruder was arrested for outstanding warrants and that no injuries were reported. Authorities have not released any information regarding the identity of the suspect.
In footage of the arrest, obtained by TMZ, the suspect can be seen being handcuffed outside a police vehicle with a large sign that reads “Private Property, No Trespassing” outside of the couple’s gate. Neither Barbara nor Dylan were seen in the footage.
The couple have not spoken out about the incident.
