Dylan Moses shares wacky update on NFL Draft decision, may be English royalty

Ahead of Alabama’s Citrus Bowl matchup with Michigan, injured star linebacker Dylan Moses announced on Instagram that he would return for his senior season with next year not being about “draft stock or money.”

Fast forward a couple days, and Moses’ stance has changed. At least, it sure seems that way.

Moses shared a legal statement on his Instagram Thursday from his father’s law practice, Moses Law Firm, that basically said that Moses would make his final NFL Draft decision on the Jan. 20 deadline after “loss of value” claims get investigated. The statement should have been straightforward enough, but fans couldn’t look past *how* that statement was written. And for good reason.

Dylan Moses may be English royalty.

Right off the bat, the statement led with this: “Trust Protector of the Royal Crown, Edward Moses Jr.”

What is going on here? It seemed like Edward Moses named the trust for Dylan the “Royal Crown,” but the statement just got weirder as it went on. It took an oddly British theme.

Also, there is no “Lords of London” insurance provider — there is a Lloyd’s of London. You’d hope an attorney would catch that mistake before its release, but apparently not.

And there was more:

“However, under provisions of the trust, his majesty is not allowed to make unilateral decisions.”

HIS MAJESTY.

That’s the only take away: Dylan Moses is royalty.
