Dylan Moran to headline Soho Theatre's new comedy festival in Croatia

The Soho Theatre has announced the launch of a brand new comedy festival – in Croatia.

The first Comedy Fortress Festival, in association with Aquarius Records and London Calling Comedy, will take place July 12-14, with Dylan Moran headlining. He will perform his acclaimed show Doctor Cosmos.

He is joined by Australian-based comic Jimeoin, Shappi Khorsandi, Nish Kumar and the latest Edinburgh Comedy Award-winner Rose Matafeo. Best newcomer nominee Olga Koch, Kai Humphries and Javier Jarquin are also on the bill.

Two comics from the region are also performing: Croatian Vlatko Štampar and Nikola Silić from Belgrade.

The acts will perform on an open-air stage in the ancient St Michael’s Fortress, overlooking the Adriatic sea in Šibenik.

The town, located in central Dalmatia, is an hour away from both Split and Zadar.

Early-bird weekend tickets start at £60 and can be bought at sohotheatre.com.
