Dylan McGeouch has told Stephen Glass he's fit and ready to stay in his Pittodrie starting XI.
The Aberdeen midfielder returned to the side in last week's crucial Premiership win over Livingston and is determined to stay there.
McGeouch returned from a groin tear in February but featured mainly off the bench during Derek McInnes' final weeks at the club.
But with an all-or-nothing clash with Hibs set to define the battle for third place on Tuesday, the 28-year-old hopes he's done enough to stay in the team.
He told the Press and Journal : “I feel fine and fit.
“I have just been waiting to have a chance and came in against Livingston.
“It is good to get back into the starting XI and also get the win as well.
“Hopefully I did well.
“The most important thing is that the team performed well on the day.
“We battled away when we had to and creatively we did well in the final third.
“It was a big three points for us on the back of last week’s performance and result
“The boys bounced back, created a lot of opportunities and defended well when we had to.”
