Dye company issues warning over dangerous prank that left girl blue

A dye company has issued a warning after a dangerous prank saw a YouTuber turn his girlfriend blue.

British YouTuber Kristen Hanby, 27, poured blue dye into his girlfriend's bath, dying her skin.

The video shows him using Dylon, a permanent dye designed for changing the colour of fabrics.

He is best known for prank videos using his friends and family as victims.

Responding to the latest prank, one viewer said: "‘I know this is a joke but it still low key abuse, I mean he’s humiliating her for social engagement."

Kristen deleted the video from TikTok.

Rachel Ferreira, Brand Manager at DYLON Dyes said: “We would highly encourage people to avoid imitating this act.

"When using our range of DYLON fabric dyes, it’s important to follow the instructions shown on pack which outlines what the product can be used for

"Dyes is intended to be used on fabrics only and should not be used on skin as this could be harmful or even trigger an allergic reaction.”
