Dye 2: Murray Fredericks and Tom Schutzinger

Sydney-based artist Murray Fredericks has collaborated with composer Tom Schutzinger on Due 2, an immersive video installation.

The artist has taken a dome from a now abandoned nuclear missile facility (Dye 2) and turned it into a receptacle for layers of sound. The work was born out of Fredericks’ time in Greenland, where he explored the country’s landscape and history by dogsled.
