In two weeks time the transfer window will be shut for Premier League clubs.
Tottenham Hotspur have already brought in Tanguy Ndombele for a club record £63m fee from Lyon with the 22-year-old France international being Mauricio Pochettino 's priority signing this summer.
The north London outfit have also also moved to secure young Leeds United winger Jack Clarke in a deal believed to be worth £9m, with the 18-year-old sent back to the Championship club on loan for a season to continue his development under Marcelo Bielsa.
But fans are still hoping for one or two more new faces before the competitive action gets underway with the visit of newly-promoted Aston Villa to the Tottenham Stadium on August 10.

Let's begin with what would be arguably the biggest story of the summer.

Rated at £80m so any deal would smash the club's transfer record for a second time this summer, with chairman Daniel Levy having already signed Ndombele for £63m.
Giovani Lo Celso
It would seem that Pochettino is trying to bring in all the Argentines this summer and links to the Real Betis star have been strong for pretty much the entire summer.
football.london understands that while Spurs remain heavily interested Giovani Lo Celso , who hails from the same region as Pochettino, and are in negotiations a deal has not yet been struck for him.
Which is contrary to reports that a £60m fee had been agreed.
Furthermore, football.london understands that a move for Lo Celso is not dependent on Christian Eriksen leaving the north London outfit amid links to Manchester United.
Ryan Sessegnon
Football.london understands Spurs are also looking to tie up a deal for the Fulham teenager before the end of the month.
Whilst there is interest from Manchester United, Liverpool and PSG in Sessegnon, Tottenham have the advantage due to Sessegnon being keen on working under the guidance of Pochettino .
It seems like the perfect time to make a move as Sessegnon has just a year left on his first professional deal at Craven Cottage, therefore his 50m valuation is likely to have dropped.
Toby Alderweireld
The £25m release clause in his contract ends tonight (July 25) with no club having been willing to trigger it as of yet.
All signs are pointing towards him staying at Spurs unless there's a last minute twist.
Danny Rose
Granted permission to stay in the UK in a bid to sort out his future.
His father has talked up a return to Leeds United, while latest reports claim Paris Saint-Germain have moved above Juventus in the race.
