Due to bank holidays over the Christmas period people in receipt of benefits may see their normal payment dates being altered.
Those in receipt of Universal Credits, PIP and other benefits should expect their money to hit their banks on different dates to usual, reports WalesOnline.
But with the time of year being such a huge financial strain on some households, especially for some who may already be struggling, it is important for people to know when they will be paid.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has confirmed the dates for payments over the festive season.
Christmas Day (December 25) and Boxing Day (December 26) fall on a Saturday and Sunday, meaning the bank holidays are moved to Monday, December 27, and Tuesday, December 28.
Similarly, New Year's Day (January 1) falls on a Saturday so the bank holiday has been moved to Monday, January 3.
Note that there may be differences in Christmas payment dates for Child Benefit and Tax Credits, both of which are handled by HMRC rather than DWP.
The DWP said: "Benefits are usually paid straight into your bank, building society or credit union account. If your payment date is on a weekend or a bank holiday you’ll usually be paid on the working day before. This may be different for tax credits and Child Benefit.
"Some payments will be made earlier if they’re due between 27 December 2021 and 4 January 2022. Tell the office that pays your benefit if you do not get your payment on the day it’s scheduled."
