Millions of people who claim Universal Credit could see their benefit payment date change this month.
August sees a Bank Holiday fall on Monday August 30 which means some payments will move from their usual date.
There's always a certain element of uncertainty when it comes to the bank holidays, as payments aren't always made and processed in the usual timeframes - reports Bristol Live.

However payments will still be made and claimants shouldn't miss out on what they are owed.
Universal credit claimants will be paid their money on their usual date in August, unless their usual payment date runs over the bank holiday weekend from August 28 to August 30.
If your usual payment date does fall on that weekend, you should receive your money on the Friday, August 27, according to the Department for Work and Pensions.
This is the same arrangement for any regular, non-bank holiday weekend, whereby claimants are paid on their regular payment date if it's a weekday, or the Friday before if it falls on the weekend.
If you have any other benefit payments due to be paid in August they could also be affected by the Bank Holiday.
But other benefit payment should also be paid on August 27 if you were due a payment from August 28 to August 30.
