The DWP have confirmed when people will be paid their benefits over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The bank holiday is on Monday, May 31 and that means any benefit payments due to be made on that date will instead be moved.
The benefits will be paid on Friday, May 28 instead, which is the last working day before the Bank Holiday.
The DWP said: "Payment dates have been brought forward. Customers due to be paid on Monday, 31 May will be paid on Friday, May 28."
Jobcentre Plus offices and phone lines will be closed all day on Monday, May 31.
People who are due to be paid their benefits on Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30 will also be paid on Friday, May 28 instead.

Benefit payments affected by Bank Holiday
Universal Credit
People on Universal Credit receive their payments on the same day every month.
But if payment dates are on a weekend or a bank holiday they will change.
Here's when you can expect to be paid if your payment was due this weekend.
Due date: Saturday, May 29 - will be paid in on Friday, May 28
Due date: Sunday, May 30 - will be paid in on Friday, May 28
Due date: Monday, May 31 - will be paid in on Friday, May 28
PIP - Personal Independence Payment
PIP is also paid every four weeks by the DWP, with payments never arranged to fall on a weekend.
But if your payment date is on a bank holiday, you will usually be paid before the bank holiday. After that, you’ll continue to get paid as normal.
So if you were due to get paid on Monday, May 31 you will be paid this week on Friday, May 28.
State Pension
The State Pension is usually paid every four weeks and payments are never arranged to fall on a weekend.
But people could be paid earlier if their normal pay date falls on a bank holiday.

Child Benefit
Child benefit is paid out every four weeks by HMRC on a Monday or Tuesday, meaning it would never be paid on a weekend.
But if you were due a payment on Monday, May 31 you will now be paid on Friday, May 28.
Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit
Tax credits such as Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit are paid by HMRC every week or every four weeks. They are never scheduled to be paid on a weekend.
But if you were due a payment on Monday, May 31 you will now be paid on Friday, May 28.
