FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. _ Seven-time All-Pro defensive end Dwight Freeney has agreed to terms with the Falcons on Tuesday, according to the team.
The Falcons had 19 sacks last season, which was last in the NFL.
In fact, the Falcons pass rush has finishing 30th, 31st and 32nd, respectively, in sacks in the past three seasons.
Freeney, 36, had eight sacks with Arizona last season.
Freeney would play on only passing downs and mentor Vic Beasley and other young linemen. He's considered a perfect fit for what the Falcons need.
