DWF lays out hybrid work plan for new Glasgow office

DWF has agreed terms for a new office in Glasgow, which will see staff working two to three days in the office, with a few days at home.

The law firm discovered, following a workplace survey in the first quarter of 2021, that the majority of employees wanted to split the working week between the two settings.

DWF has taken the feedback on board and implemented its findings in its new global office strategy.

As a part of this strategy, late this month the DWF team in Glasgow will move from 110 Queen Street to the eighth floor of The Sentinel, a fully refurbished office.

While the new office is fitted-out, the team will be temporarily based out of 9 George Square.

Paul Pignatelli, Glasgow office managing partner at DWF, said: "The pandemic has unsurprisingly led to more people working from home than ever before.

"As a result we have been able to reduce our square foot space by half and begin designing our new office environment that caters for a new way of working.

"It is a genuinely exciting opportunity to move into a newer, fitter-for-purpose environment embracing some of the newer habits that have been formed over the last 12 months."

Savills advised DWF on the move from 110 Queen Street to The Sentinel, which is owned by Ardstone Capital.
