Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would love to wrap a ‘BMF’ belt around Jorge Masvidal’s waist

If Jorge Masvidal defeats Nate Diaz, he doesn’t want UFC president Dana White to be the one wrapping a newly minted “BMF” title belt around his waist.

“Gamebred” would prefer a specific someone with Miami ties do it instead.

Masvidal (34-13 MMA, 11-6 UFC) and Diaz (20-11 MMA, 15-9 UFC) will square off Nov. 2 at UFC 244 at Madison Square Garden. In a tweet on Sunday, “Gamebred” said he’s requesting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson be the one to award him the “BMF” strap.

Throughout the years, “The Rock” has been an avid MMA fan and attended numerous UFC events. Masvidal and Johnson have a common thread, which “Gamebred” pointed out in his tweet. While Masvidal was born and raised in the Miami area, Johnson played college football for the University of Miami before becoming a WWE superstar and actor.

In the tweet, Masvidal wrote, “@TheRock I’m telling @danawhite I want you to put it around my waist 305 all day.”

On Monday afternoon, “The Rock” quote-tweeted Masvidal’s message and said he is doing everything in his power to make Masvidal’s request come to fruition. He also called Masvidal vs. Diaz “one of the biggest and most electrifying fights in UFC history.”
