There has been a sense of hype surrounding the Washington Redskins ever since the team brought on Ron Rivera as head coach.
And it isn’t slowing down even though the news itself isn’t so new — and players are a part of that.
Dwayne Haskins is the latest help in this area thanks to the above tweet. It’s a simple enough message, but it’s hard not to feel the player’s excitement atop everything else.
Haskins, of course, is the subject of some speculation because Rivera has made comments about keeping the position somewhat open to competition.
But the rookie was so impressive down the stretch it’s hard not to think he’s going to be the starter next year. And if he keeps approaching things with this attitude — as he always has since arrived in Washington — it’s hard to imagine Rivera goes a different way.
