Dwayne Haskins says the NFL ‘messed up’ by letting him fall to Redskins

New Washington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins has a giant chip on his shoulder.

Haskins fell to the No. 15 selection in the 2019 NFL draft, where the Redskins didn’t appear to blink much while making him the pick.

And Haskins let the world know he wasn’t happy about the fall during an interview with ESPN’s Jen Lada (h/t ESPN’s Field Yates): “To be honest, Im more motivated than ever before. I’ve got a chip on my shoulder… the league done messed up.”

Haskins will arrive in Washington motivated to rip the starting job away from veteran Case Keenum, who arrived recently via trade with Denver.

Those Redskins were considered contenders to move up and get a player like Haskins. Instead, they sat still and will potentially benefit even more than before now that Williams feels like 14 teams made a serious mistake.
