There are a number of high-end wide receivers that could be acquired in the free agency market later this month, with such names as Amari Cooper, Robby Anderson and A.J. Green potentially hitting the open market, should they avoid the franchise tag.
However, the Washington Redskins’ young quarterback Dwayne Haskins seems to have someone else in his crosshairs. When taking to social media on Friday night, Haskins posted a picture of Minnesota Vikings WR Stefon Diggs, though he was photoshopped to be wearing the Redskins’ Burgundy & Gold, catching a pass from Haskins. The photo was captioned as ‘DMV Connection.’
Diggs isn’t a free agent this offseason, but there have been some rumors about a potential trade market for him if things were to sour with his current team. The ownership in Minnesota has done everything they can to quiet these talks, but they are still out there.
So could a trade package for Diggs be a possibility down the line? The Redskins do happen to have a top-tier left tackle who is openly looking for a trade partner at the moment…
