When it comes to imposing defenders in the NFL, Bears linebacker Khalil Mack ranks near the top.
Whether it’s veterans or rookies, opposing quarterbacks know that Mack is coming — and he’s not afraid to push 300-pound offensive linemen out of the way almost effortlessly.
So which rookie quarterback isn’t thrilled by the idea of getting hit by Mack?
That would be Redskins rookie Dwayne Haskins, who, when asked about the one player he’s worried about hitting him answered, without hesitation, Khalil Mack.
“Khalil Mack is someone I don’t want to be touched by,” Haskins told TMZ.
Haskins is right to fear Mack, and if he wins the starting quarterback job over Case Keenum, Haskins won’t have to wait long to get a formal introduction with Mack.
The Redskins host the Bears on Sept. 23 for Monday Night Football, where it’s presumed that Haskins will line up under center. So Mack will certainly be gunning for the No. 15 overall pick, and Haskins clearly already has that match-up in his head.
