Dwayne Haskins is having fun on social media with his big highlight

It certainly feels like Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins turned a corner of sorts in the second week of the preseason.

A game removed from throwing two interceptions in his NFL debut, Haskins stood tall in the pocket on a memorable moment against the Cincinanti Bengals and delivered a 55-yard touchdown strike.

Haskins had some fun with it after the game, as seen in the tweet above.

Given the elite Cincinnati front he faced on that drive, the ability to stand in and sling it accurately was about as impressive as it gets for a rookie passer. One of the interesting whispers surrounding Haskins’ draft stock was his ability to stretch the field, too.

Granted, this one throw won’t win Haskins a starting job. But it is hard to blame the rookie for celebrating a big turnaround and what could be the onset of some big momentum.
