Dwayne Haskins’ inaccuracy on Sunday reportedly stems from a slight wrist injury

According to Washington Redskins interim head coach Bill Callahan, rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins has a slight wrist injury that he was dealing with during the win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday.

After the victory — the first of his career — Haskins told the media that he had been dealing with some pain to his wrist, which he claimed was a factor in some of the inaccuracy that we saw during the contest. Haskins finished the game completing 13-of-29 passes for 156 yards and one interception. There were multiple instances in the game where he took deep shots to receiver Terry McLaurin, but badly missed.
