We saw Washington starting quarterback Alex Smith getting some attention from the training staff on the sideline in the first half, and in general, he just didn’t look to be playing like himself. As a result, he has been ruled as questionable to return to the game after the half with a leg injury, leaving backup QB Dwayne Haskins to enter.
This is the first time that Haskins has played in a game since getting benched after four games this season. He was quickly demoted to the third-string quarterback but moved up to QB2 when Kyle Allen dislocated his ankle.
We will see if Smith ends up returning in this game, but depending on how Haskins looks, it could be his show for the rest of the game.
