Dwayne Haskins impressing so far with the Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins and Jay Gruden seem to be loving former Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Although it’s just offseason training, Haskins has been putting on a throwing clinic in Washington.

The numerous teams that passed on him early in the draft can’t be surprised to see the 15th overall selection throwing absolute dimes. After all, this is what he did at the collegiate level.

It wasn’t by accident that Haskins weilded his way to a Big Ten record fifty touchdowns in a season. Nor was it an accident that he threw just eight interceptions.

Haskins can throw, and Gruden — once exposed to it first hand — loved what he saw.

Here’s what impressed on the field.

And, here is why fans will love Haskins off the field.

Haskins will be a great addition for the Washington Redskins who hope to revive their fanbase after teasing them with a 4-2 start and 3-7 finish to 2018. It’s early, but the Heisman finalist is laying the groundwork of what could be a long and productive NFL career.
