If you’re deploying a rookie quarterback, you have to be ready for the rookie mistakes that come with it.
Redskins QB Dwayne Haskins threw his second career interception late in the first half on Thursday night, just as Washington verged on entering the redzone. Cleveland’s rookie Greedy Williams was on the receiving end.
It appeared that there was a miscommunication between QB and receiver, as there was nobody in Burgundy near the ball.
Haskins now has two interceptions on the night, both of which could have been easily avoided. While he has made a few great throws, the mistakes are outweighing the bright spots at the moment.
