Thousands of learner drivers have been left frustrated after their driving tests and lessons were cancelled during the second lockdown.
In the four week lockdown period there will be no driving tests or lessons, leaving many people disappointed.
When the lockdown was first announced it wasn't clear if tests would be cancelled, but when the news was confirmed they would be drivers were dealt a blow - reports Leicestershire Live.
Now, the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency has (DVSA) has issued information for those who have been affected.
An email sent to affected people states: "You do not need to do anything right now.
"We’ll automatically rebook your test, free of charge, as soon as we can.
"We’ll send you another email with the new date and time as soon as it’s been rebooked. It might take up to a week before we can confirm your new test date; we apologise for any inconvenience.
"If the new time and date you are given is not suitable, you can change your test time and date.
"The Government has announced that during these dates, driving lessons should not take place in England.
"If you want to practise driving during this time you can practise with an experienced driver from your household if travelling for work, education or for other legally permitted exemptions.

It is not yet known how far into the future the suspended November tests will be re-booked.
Theory tests have also been suspended in England from Thursday, November 5 2020.
They are expected to start again on Wednesday, December 2.
