DVD & VHS in one box

If you haven't got around to buying a DVD player yet, then maybe it's because you have a few hundred VHS tapes and really don't feel like trying to find copies of Themroc, Tampopo and Terminator on silver discs. In that case, maybe you could be tempted by the HR-XV1 that JVC announced this afternoon. It combines DVD and VHS in one box. It will also play your CD, VCD, CD-R/RW and MP3 (CD-R/RW) discs and NTSC tapes, if you have any.
