Dustin Poirier has confirmed that he still intends to donate $20,000 to a charity in Charles Oliveira's hometown after their fight last month.
Poirier pledged to make the massive donation immediately following their lightweight world title bout, which he lost by third round rear naked choke.
The American promised that he would donate the money to Oliveira's hometown, after watching a video showing the poor area where he had grown up.
And after fans continued to check in about the massive pledge, Poirier has insisted that it is on its way, once Oliveira's team have decided where they would like to put the money.
“For anyone asking about the $20k donation I promised, of course I’m going to honour it!" Poirier tweeted.
"We have been in contact with Charles and his team. We are waiting for them to figure out what project they want it donated to.”

Immediately following the bout, the pair embraced, which is when Poirier made the offer to help out a charity in Oliveira's Brazilian hometown of Guaruja in Sao Paolo.
Oliveira praised Poirier for "helping the kids" with his charity the Good Fight Foundation, which prompted Poirier to make the generous offer, saying: "I would like to donate $20,000 to your hometown where you're from.
"I want to support the kids, you pick where the money goes - congratulations, I'm proud of you."
The pair had shared a mutual respect heading into the bout, with Poirier saying he had viewed footage of Oliveira's rough upbringing in Brazil.
And he expanded on why he had made the donation at the post-fight press conference, telling reporters he had planned to do it no matter the result.
"I saw a video this week of him showing where he grew up and where his mom cooked dinner for him," Poirier explained. "I think it was an old video.
"I saw some of the sights of where he grew up and just how little they had, it came to me this week.

"I thought I was going to let him know win, lose or draw, talk to him after and let him know me and the Good Fight Foundation would donate $20,000 to his city in Brazil and put the money to wherever he thinks it needs to be.
"He's a good guy and he knows where the money will go the furthest, that's what we're going to do.
"And like I said, man, I'm going to continue to try to do good and that's it. I want to be a better person every day."
Both fighters will now have to make decisions about their future, with Conor McGregor seemingly eyeing up bouts with each of them.
He has pushed in the past for an unprecedented fourth bout against the American, but now seems to have set his sights on the Brazilian.
