Dustin Johnson is playing in this week’s PGA Tour stop in Detroit, where he’s one of the favorites to leave with another victory.
On Wednesday, he provided a moment that one couple will never forget, as he surprised them by helping reveal what gender their baby will be.
Let’s just preface this by saying this is one odd way for a couple to learn what gender their baby will be. But it’s something that absolutely happened and is something nobody could have predicted would happen.
While signing autographs, Johnson surprised a couple by telling them he heard they were pregnant. They were stunned that he knew that, as they should have been, and then he took it a step further by pulling a pink ball out of his pocket and telling them they’re going to have a daughter.

I told you it was odd and I have no idea how someone at the PGA Tour would go about making something like that happen.
But hey, it sure is something the couple loved and is something they and their baby will never forget.
