Dustin Johnson came pretty darn close to pulling off a historic comeback during Sunday’s final round of the PGA Championship.
But in the end he finished in second place, two strokes behind the winner, Brooks Koepka, who added his fourth major championship to his resume. He also took the world No. 1 ranking away from DJ, too.
DJ has now finished second in all four majors, which is known as the career runner-up Grand Slam.
While it shows that a golfer has been in contention at all four majors, it also shows that they came up short when it mattered the most.
DJ was asked about it after Sunday’s round and he actually showed a fun side to him with this hilarious reaction:
Now that’s a side of DJ that we need to see more. He’s often way too boring, which makes it hard to get behind him.
