Actress Hiba Nawab, who was never very religious, has discovered a spiritual side to her in the past one year. The actress shares how the last year has changed her life for the better.
She says, "The pandemic gave me a reality check. Earlier I was neither content nor happy but after the period, I have became more mature and have realised the power of one energy. I have started praying and doing my Namaaz everyday. Meditation also healed me a lot and out of nowhere, I felt happy from within. I realised the importance of inner self through meditation."
With the ongoing month of Ramzan, Hiba shares how she regularly fasts even when she is shooting. She says, "We are constantly shooting outdoor for my show Woh Toh Albela and it does get difficult at times in the summer heat, but God gives me the strength. I do my prayers in the evening on the set and then break my fast at 7 pm. I also meditate whenever I get the time. I am glad that now I am closer to my religion and the spiritual energy makes me feel good."
Ask her if she breaks the fast with her co-actor Shaheer Sheikh and she says, "Shaheer is not in town and has gone to Indonesia for a project. He is a great prankster and a thorough gentleman. I enjoy working with him on the set." Hiba is currently playing the lead in the TV show Woh Toh Hai Albela. Earlier she has acted in many TV shows like Tere Mere Sheher Main, Meri Sasu Maa and Jijaji Chat Par Hai.
