Simon Le Bon said: "I look at film of The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park back in '69 and think of all the great acts who've performed there since. It really is an honour to add the name Duran Duran to that roster, and to play our music at one of the world's greatest inner city locations at BST Hyde Park."

BTS has also confirmed Gwen Stefani for the date, who will appear as a UK exclusive, as well as the legendary Nile Rodgers and CHIC.

Tickets will go on sale at at 10am on Friday, March 13 from major ticket outlets including AXS and Ticketmaster . Tickets are priced from £65.

Duran Duran fans will be pleased to hear they can gain early access to tickets, which go on presale on Thursday March 10 from 10am. The presale tickets will be available to buy here.

The group are likely to perform songs from their upcoming album, which is due to release this summer.
