Duo heavily linked with Nottingham Forest find new clubs

Two players who were linked with moves to Nottingham Forest this summer have found new clubs.

Kevin Danso has moved to Fortuna Dusseldorf from Augsburg and striker Simon Terodde has completed a switch from FC Koln to Hamburg.

Bild had claimed in July that Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi was weighing up a bid for Terodde despite his reported £45,000-a-week wages.

But he has remained in 2.Bundesliga and has moved from FC Koln to  Hamburg try and win promotion next season.

He scored 37 goals in 71 appearances for FC Koln, but the Reds switched their attentions to former Charlton striker Lyle Taylor who signed on a free transfer last week.

Danso, meanwhile, was heavily linked with the Reds, but he has sealed a move to relegated Fortuna in a bid to help them regain their place in the German top flight.

The 21-year-old played in the Premier League last season for Southampton.

He moved to St Mary's on a season-long deal, with an option for the Saints to buy him this summer.

He played six times for Southampton in the top flight - and played a further four matches for Ralph Hasenhuttl's side in the FA Cup and EFL Cup.
