Dunnes Stores update on delivery service and click and collect as Christmas shopping ramps up

Dunnes Stores are currently warning customers that delivery and the click and collect service take up to seven days to arrive.

The retail giant is seeing increasing demand at this time of year and is telling buyers how long they should expect to wait.

Dunnes, who can't currently sell non-essential items in store, offer home delivery with DPD as well as click and collect.

All services currently have a seven day promise although large items of furniture could take up to 15 days to deliver.

Here's the latest information from Dunnes Stores' website on their services;

Home delivery

The retail giant state on their site: "Dunnes Stores provides a FREE Home Delivery service for all orders of €50 (ROI) / £40 (NI) or more.

"Otherwise, a /delivery fee of €3.95/£3.95 applies. Our delivery promise is currently 7 days following order placement.

"Large items of furniture are delivered by Etmar who will contact you once the order has been dispatched from our online store. Delivery will be made in 10 to 15 working days following order placement."

Click and collect

The company says: "Our Click and Collect service to stores in ROI and Northern Ireland is available with free delivery and no minimum spend.

"Our delivery promise to your selected store is currently 7 days following order placement."
