A shop in Dunmurry was targeted this morning by men armed with a suspected firearm this morning.
The two men entered the shop in the Jasmine End area of Dunmurry on Thursday morning, August 15, and made off with money.
A car they were spotted leaving the scene in was later found burnt out at the Beechmount Grove area of Belfast, police said.
Detective Inspector Kerry Brennan said: "Shortly after 6:25am, it was reported that two men entered a shop in the area with one man armed with a suspected firearm. "Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area at the time of the incident to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference 214 15/08/19. Alternatively, information can also be provided to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 which is 100% anonymous and gives people the power to speak up and stop crime."
