Dunleavy fitting right in as Hawks defeat Bucks

ATLANTA _ Mike Dunleavy has shown every sign of fitting in with the Atlanta Hawks.

The wing scored 20 points off the bench, including four 3-pointers, as the Hawks defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 111-98 at Philips Arena Sunday afternoon. Dunleavy is now 6 of 8 from 3-point range in his two games with the Hawks after being acquired in a trade with the Cavaliers. He had season highs in points and 3-pointers.

The Hawks (23-17) placed five players in double figures as they won for the eighth time in the past nine games. Kent Bazemore had 24 points followed by Paul Millsap (18), Dwight Howard (16) and Thabo Sefolosha (10). Bazemore had four 3-pointers. Howard had a double-double with 14 rebounds.

The Bucks (20-19) were Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with a game-high 33 points.

The Hawks used a 19-4 run between the first and second quarters to take a 12-point lead at 52-40. Millsap hit a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to end the first quarter and start the run. Sefolosha had eight of the Hawks' next 14 points. The Hawks took a 60-53 lead into intermission. Dunleavy had 12 first-half points and Howard had nine points and nine rebounds.

The Hawks grabbed another double-digit lead in the third quarter as Bazemore scored 13 of his points in the period, including 11 straight at one point.

The Hawks lost Mike Muscala to a left ankle injury in the first quarter. Muscala stepped on Schroder's foot and rolled his ankle. He got up but went immediately to the locker room and the team soon after reported he would not return.
