Dunkin' Donuts set to open in Nottingham

A new Dunkin' Donuts looks set to open in Nottingham, making it the first site in the East Midlands.

A sign has appeared in Alfreton Road, Radford, reading: "Dunkin Donuts, opening soon. Join our team, send your CV to dunkinjobs@ddstores.co.uk."

The outlet, which serves doughnuts, coffee and bakery items, has locations in 46 countries with takeaways in London, Manchester and Sheffield - but it does not currently sell sweet treats in the East Midlands.

Customers can also get their coffee and doughnut fix from the comfort of their own home by ordering through UberEats or Deliveroo.

The American chain was started in 1950 by William Rosenberg who had an epiphany that people loved to dunk their donuts in their coffee.

Jobs in Nottingham can be found on the Dunkin' Donuts website.
