Dunelm moves in to Clyde Shopping Centre

Homeware retailer Dunelm has signed up for a 45,000 sq ft unit at the Clyde Shopping Centre in Clydebank.

The brand relocates from the nearby retail park to take up the space vacated by Dunnes Stores.

Andrew Forrester, centre manager at Clyde Shopping Centre, said: "We are delighted that Dunelm have chosen to relocate their Clydebank store to Clyde Shopping Centre. This will be a key addition to the centre and a great new anchor store for us. We are excited that our customers will be able to enjoy their brilliant range of products".

Shopping centre owner Edinburgh House Estates was advised by Savills.

Senior asset manager Ross Campbell said: “Despite the current challenges within the retail sector, we have seen a number of new deals in Clyde and are delighted to attract Dunelm, one of the UK’s best in class retailers.

"We’ve been working really hard to ensure that we bring the right brands to the centre and building on our strong loyal catchment. We do a lot of research into what our shoppers want and Dunelm and B&M - our other anchor store letting this year, is what people want to see at the centre."
