Dundonald FC announce return of Irish League winger

Amateur League club Dundonald have announced the return of Irish League winger Craig McMillen.

The 34-year-old started his career with Dundonald before venturing into the Irish League where he had spells with clubs including H&W Welders, Portadown, Carrick Rangers and most recently Ards.

It was with Ards where McMillen made his mark, making over 300 appearances and winning two Championship medals and lifting the Steel and Sons Cup.

Dundonald revealed the signing on Tuesday, announcing it as 'The Return of the Wack'.

They said in a statement: "We are delighted to announce that Craig McMillen has rejoined the club after his very successful adventures in Irish League football.

"Wack played for Dundonald at a very early age before quickly being snapped up. In his time away he played for a host of Irish League teams and of course reached over 350 appearances for Ards FC.

"We thank Ards FC for their collaboration in this process.

"Looking forward to having him home. Someone remind me to buy some paracetamol.

"Onwards and upwards."
