Dundee United vs Celtic 'in doubt' as Storm Arwen threatens Tannadice clash

Celtic's clash with Dundee United this weekend is said to be in jeopardy due to damages to Tannadice.

Storm Arwen has caused chaos across Scotland, particularly on the east coast where red weather warnings have been in place.

A statement from United on Friday confirmed that Tannadice's Jerry Kerr stand would need repairs due to the conditions.

And now the Scottish Sun report that the club are considering calling off their Premiership clash with Celtic this weekend.

The Tannadice club want to avoid that eventuality especially with the game set to be broadcast live on Sky Sports.

It's said they will fast-track repairs in a desperate bid to get the game played on Sunday afternoon.

But it's believed fears are growing that the stadium won't be playable in time for the visit of Ange Postecoglou 's team.
