Dundee United transfer latest on Niskanen, Robson and Fuchs

Hopeful Dundee United are aiming to complete the signing of Ilmari Niskanen this week.

United have agreed terms with the Finnish international and a fee with German side Ingolstadt.

They are just waiting for the green light to finalise the move subject to a work permit being granted.

United are confident the deal can be tied up this week.

The 23-year-old has been on United’s target since he was at Finnish club KuPS.

United are still active in the transfer market with another central midfielder likely to be targeted. by the Premiership side

There could be further business if other players are sold.

Lincoln City are keen on full-back Jamie Robson and have failed in multiple bids to prise him away from Scottish football.

That deal now hinges on them selling one of their own players before the close of the window so they can up their offer for Robson.

Keeper Benjamin Siegrist is another who is out of contract at the end of the season but there has been nothing active on that front in recent weeks.

Midfielder Jeando Fuchs has also been linked with a number of clubs and could attract interest.
