Dundee United supporters have hit back at ticket prices for their upcoming derby against city rivals Dundee.
United are set to host James McPake's side on September 19 in the first derby clash of the season.
Supporters, however, have hit back at United's ticket pricing decision for the match.
Fans have been stung with the news that tickets for the match will be £30.
That is the same for every away fan in the English Premier League, following the introduction of maximum pricing in England's top flight for away supporters.
Dundee United supporters, however, were shocked by the news that they were going to be charged so much for the fixture.
Supporters went on social media to vent their frustrations at the decision.
One fan posted on Twitter to say "You have got this badly wrong. Regardless of take up. Open your eyes and talk/listen to the fans. £30 must never be seen again."
Another fan shared the sentiment that the tickets have been priced too highly, saying "It's been said before but pricing out fans and more importantly families will impact not only the support of today but the size of our support in the years to come. Pricing matches in this way is harmful"
The neighbours will face off against each other in the Scottish Premiership since 2016, where Dundee ran out 2-1 winners at Dens Park.
The last meeting between the two sides came in 2019 in a Scottish Championship clash.
That scoreline ended up being a score draw with both sides taking a point out of the match.
